Una delle mie abitudini quotidiane è leggere, soprattutto poesia, sia antica, sia moderna, sia cinese, sia occidentale. Penso che il sentimento verso la natura non sia limitato dal tempo e dallo spazio. Il tempo e lo spazio sono solo concetti illusori, quindi posso costantemente sperimentare senza rimanere intrappolato dai vincoli e dalla consuetudine. Oltre alla poesia, è indispensabile la conoscenza delle religioni e della filosofia.
Conoscenze multidisciplinari consentono di vedere il mondo con più chiarezza.
One of my daily habits is reading, especially poetry, both ancient, modern, Chinese, and Western. I think the feeling towards nature is not limited by time and space. Time and space are just illusory concepts, so I can constantly experiment without being trapped by constraints and custom. Besides poetry, knowledge of religions and philosophy is indispensable. Multidisciplinary knowledge allows you to see the world more clearly.
我这些年的习惯便是读书，以诗歌为主，古今中外都读，我以为人对自然的感触是不受时空限制的，时空只是个虚幻的概念，所以可以不断的去体会每一种诗意的气质，从而尽量不让自己落入某种气质，并能够熟练的变化气质，这一点是我一直坚持的，虽然至今我还不够。除了诗词之外，对宗教与哲学认知是必不可少的，这包括现代前沿科学对事物的认识。当一个人能从各种知识结构去看待理解同一事物时，一个人才会尽可能的减少自己的困惑。理清则事无碍，这也是古人的教诲。而一个人的见地，以格局为上，但不拒绝情趣；取意志而尊物理，这不仅是艺者的取向亦是士者的行径。所谓的境界，是明白了极微尘的大方广；所谓的通达，是使人可以不昧雅俗贵贱，这种的心行便是一个艺术家的底气。
